Capacity is a layout figure
A capacity figure describes how many bags may fit in a selected layout. MycoFrame Standard has a reference capacity of up to 4,000 pre-inoculated bags, subject to bag dimensions and layout. It does not establish crop quality, scheduling or sellable output. Confirm the physical bag format and access for inspection and harvesting before using capacity in a production plan.
Reference yield is not a promise
The Standard reference is approximately 0.5 lb per bag per round. At 4,000 bags, that corresponds to approximately 2,000 lb / 907 kg per round. Both figures are references. Variety, bag quality, recipe, handling and losses affect the actual result. Compact yield is configuration-specific and should not be calculated by simply halving the Standard number.
Keep timing definitions consistent
Approximately 10 days is a fastest harvest reference for select varieties under optimal conditions. It is not a guaranteed complete five-stage cycle. A calendar also includes receiving, loading, colonization where applicable, crop development, harvest, cleaning and preparation for the next batch. Record each part separately when planning a real operating schedule.
Measure sellable output
Harvest weight and sold weight answer different questions. Include quality grading, handling losses, unsold product and delivery requirements. Match production to confirmed customer demand and cold-storage capacity. A nominal harvest figure does not establish a selling price or guarantee that all mushrooms will be sold.
Count the ongoing inputs
Include delivered bag costs, electricity, water, labour, packaging, cold storage, transport, waste handling, maintenance and the applicable service plan. In Canada, the mandatory MycoFrame base service plan is CAD 1,500 per month, billed separately. Obtain written service conditions. US service terms are quoted separately. Electrical circuit ratings should not be substituted for measured energy use.
Use scenarios with visible assumptions
Prepare a cautious case as well as a target case. Vary bag cost, sellable yield, crop timing, labour and actual sales demand. Keep supplier terms and measured results separate from estimates. An equipment quote should help establish the configuration and responsibilities; it should not be treated as a promise of profit, return on investment or a fixed payback period.
